1,000 Voices: How to record your audio and video
You don’t have to be a technical expert or professional or own very expensive equipment to be able to record yourself for this project. There are a number of different ways you can record your vocals and/or video for this project as this short video explains.

Please watch our video guide to help you prepare for your recording session. It includes top tips of how to use this page and how to record and film yourself using your phone. We hope you’ll find everything you need to make the process as enjoyable, smooth and straight forward as possible.
Six top tips to record using your mobile phone
Download and use the guide tracks and lyric scripts PDFs to learn the song melodies (below).
Once you’re ready to record, press record on your voice recorder app.
Let it run, and on a different device (another phone, iPad, computer, TV etc.), play the guide track audio, listening to it through headphones or ear buds etc.
Sing along following the lyric guide sheet. Ensure you clap once on the fourth beat as instructed (not all the way through).
Once complete, fill out the form below and upload!
Record as many parts as you like and follow the same process.

2. The expression medley
We want to hear your own words!
If you’re a Christian and have a faith then we encourage you to also try the expression medley.
The whole idea of the expression medley is to make up your own melodies and words in praise and worship to God!
