Encounter Events: Welcome to our page

We organise a variety of events where people are invited to encounter and experience God’s love.

All our events are designed to inspire and encourage, creatively communicating our faith and the hope that it can bring.

So, if you want to learn more, connect, reconnect, or simply enjoy a nice evening out, you are most welcome.

Our latest events:

Christian recording artist & worship leader Rob Westall will be leading an evening of worship at the Threshing Barn at Middle Gaer Farm in Cwmdu on Thursday 20th February 2024 at 7.30pm.

The Music missionary will be sharing some new original worship songs and encouraging others to ‘lift their voices’ in praise and worship and we will see what happens.

There will also be testimonies from local Christians, including a word of encouragement from John Chadwick.

“There’s no agenda other than to come and worship Jesus and expect to encounter His presence,” said Rob.

"God is God and is worthy to be praised, end of, and that’s why we’re gathering.

“He's inspired some new songs which are along this thread and the message is clear - sing to the Lord a new song!

“But a song which we may have forgotten. Songs of sacrifice as we bow down and adore the King of Kings.

“God is worthy of new songs and sometimes it’s good for us to express our hearts with new vocabulary. Otherwise it can become stale and boring can’t it?

“I really hope as many people as possible will come to join us in bowing down before the King of Kings and crying out for His ways and His Will and His power and presence to transform us.“
