Welsh Christian recording artist Rob Westall is a former BBC journalist now broadcasting the ‘Good News’ of the Gospel through his music ministry. 

Married with three children, Rob loves writing new worship songs inspired by his faith and creatively sharing the Good News on and off stage.

He loves partnering with other Christian artists, creatives, media, ministries, organisations and churches, to create events, programmes, content and services (including online), that creatively communicate the peace, love and hope that only Jesus provides.

‘Never Let Me Go’ - was the lead single from 1,000 Voices and focuses on God’s great love for us. Nominated for several awards, the song also topped the UK Christian charts.

‘Jesus Rock on Which I Stand’ - Play-listed by several major Christian radio stations, including UCB2, this high-octane powerful song of praise, was inspired by some of the Psalms, during a difficult period in lockdown.

‘I will trust in you’ - This worship anthem was inspired by Psalm 46 in particular, again during the Coronavirus pandemic and is a duet with West End star Katy Treharne (The Phantom of the Opera).

Worship leader: A heart for Spirit-led worship

Rob Westall has performed at the same events as the likes of Noel Robinson, Sinach (Waymaker), Martin Smith and Philippa Hanna, but is equally at home leading worship at his local church in Wales.

Rob and his team predominantly play the songs God has inspired them to write and share, and these fresh new anthems of praise have contributed to some powerful times of worship at churches and outreach events across the UK.

The focus is on leading people to a place where they can express their hearts to God in their own words. The songs are just tools that can inspire and encourage this expression. When we are reminded of the truth about who God is and aspects of His great love for us, it naturally evokes a response towards the awesome God we worship.

A prolific songwriter, Rob is passionate about creating big sounding anthems of praise and worship, inspired by his relationship with God and collaboration with others.

Rob Westall’s songs have topped the UK Christian charts and have been heard on radio and TV across the globe, including BBC, UCB and Premier Christian Radio.

Inspired by his times with God, the songs sometimes recite Biblical passages, declare truth, focusing on the Almighty to help others express their hearts in worship.

Evangelist: 53 souls saved in just 18 months

Rob has a heart for the lost and invites people to know Jesus at the events he is involved with.

Everyone is at a different stage of their journey of life and our prayer is that people we encounter leave our events closer to the Lord.

Rob shares the Gospel in a simple and easy-to-understand way and works closely with partners before, during and after events.

In the past 18 months we saw 53 people (that we know of) decide to follow Jesus for the first time at the events we were invited to be a part of. Many more people decided to recommit their lives to Christ and were blessed and encouraged.

When 11 young people decided to follow Jesus at an event in Kent

Towards the end of 2022, Rob Westall and his team partnered with Samaritan’s Purse Opertation Christmas Child to put on three live music events in Tonbridge, Kent; Oldbury near Birmingham and Rotherham in Yorkshire.

At the first event, Rob invited people to know Jesus and this video below explains what happened.
