This weekend's Lionheart Festival, which Rob Westall and the band were due to play, has sadly been postponed.
With strong winds forecast and a weather warning issued by the UK Met Office for the Isle of Wight, organisers decided to postpone the event to ensure the safety of everyone due to be at the site.
A new date will be announced for the festival in due course, which was to feature worship leaders such as Lou Fellingham and Noel Robinson.
Rob, who toured the Island to help promote the festival as recently as June, appealed for people to pray for the organisers.
“Despite this being the right call to take, I can’t imagine how challenging and difficult this must be for the organisers who I consider to be family,” said Rob.
“The festival will come back stronger and the band and I hope to be there for it and will support them in any way we can.
“Please pray for the Lionheart team especially during this time.”
